ALCAR steelwheels are high-quality stellwheels for cars, light trucks and SUVs that meet the quality requirements of the vehicle industry in every respect. All bikes are developed and produced in accordance with the applicable European standards. The requirements for these products differ in terms of material, quality and design depending on the area of application. One result of these developments is the hybrid wheel, which combines the advantages of a steelwheel with the design requirements of an light alloy wheel.

DOTZ DAKAR steelwheel

The DOTZ DAKAR steelwheel depsite the jungle and the dessert as well as the deepest winter. The rims are also suitable for all off-road drivers and of course TÜV certified. 

The wheel is available in all common dimensions for the most important off-road vehicles. The high-quality finish not only protects the steelwheel, but also makes it sparkle like a jewel. The DAKAR wheel in 7x16 is also available with a dark paint finish.

All ALCAR steelwheels are manufactured on automated production lines. The bowl is created in several forming steps on transfer presses with a pressing force of 3,000t. The rims are created by various rolling opreations. Here, with an increasing number of wheels, the material distribution is optimized by means of flow-forming (flow spinning) and thus ultimately a further weight saving is achieved. Finally, the rim of a wheel is calibrated to very tight radial and axial runout tolerances. 

Both components are assembled and welded fully automatically. The manufacturing process for steel wheels is so precise that the raw wheel can go straight to the paint shop without any mechanical post-processing, in which it is always given a cathodic replacement primer and a top coat.
