The one-piece newcomer in the fresh double-spoke design with BBS design elements is produced exclusively in Germany. The SX wheel is manufactured in the low-pressure casting process, and is available in the colors brilliant silver and crystal black (special-effect paint) in the dimensions 7.5 x 17, 8.0 x 18, 8.5 x 19 and 9,0 x 20 inches with a General Operating Permit (German abbreviation: ABE) for a variety of vehicles. In addition, for the first time there are ECE fitments – and thus Europe-wide registration-free – wheel applications in 17 and 18 inches in the program. Compatibility with standard tire pressure monitoring systems, a special coating and the unrestricted suitability for snow chains ensure enjoyment of the product.

With the addition of a 9.0 x 20-inch size to their classic five double-spoke SX design, worldrenowned alloy wheel manufacturer BBS underscores their all-year-round leadership of the premium alloy wheel market. The popularity of premium SUVs and other 4WD vehicles has made it increasingly important that winter wheels should also be stylish. Thus BBS has made it a priority that their SX design is available in 20-inch diameter, and in Crystal Black (paint effect) and Brilliant Silver finishes to complement the BMW X range, Audi Q5 and Q7, Land Rover, and the Volvo XC90.

These low-pressure cast BBS winter wheels are “100-percent Made in Germany” and also come in 7.5 x 17, 8.0 x 18 and 8.5 x 19-inch sizes with TÜV approval for a wide range of vehicle applications. Most of the 17 and 18-inch sizes carry European type-approval, and so can be entered in the vehicle documents immediately. Replete with a winter resistant surface coating, the design and manufacturing process of these wheels take into account compatibility with OE tyre pressure monitoring systems, as well as suitability for use with snow chains.
